The free tier of AquaTone provides access to a limited set of ambient audio tracks and basic playback features. No account or payment is required.
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe, our authorized payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and authorize them to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan).
We may change subscription prices at any time. We will notify active subscribers at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the link provided in your subscription confirmation email, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until that date.
You may upload your own audio files to the Service for personal playback. By uploading, you represent that:
Uploaded audio files remain on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. We do not monitor, review, or claim ownership of your uploaded content.
All Content provided by AquaTone — including preloaded ambient audio tracks, the website design, graphics, the "AquaTone" name and logo, and the underlying source code — is owned by AquaTone and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Content without prior written permission.
You agree not to:
AquaTone is a leisure and relaxation tool. It is not medical equipment and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, including insomnia, anxiety, depression, or other mental or physical disorders. If you have persistent sleep problems or other health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AquaTone and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AquaTone and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Hong Kong. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
